Jose Acaba: A Retrospective
In beloved memory of an extraordinary artist, this retrospective exhibition will showcase a lifetime of art by Jose Acaba.
This exhibit will remain on display through August 16, 2024.
If you have any works in your collection by Jose and would be willing to loan them to Belton Center for the Arts for the duration of this exhibit, please contact Kendell at kendell@beltonarts.org or 864-338-8556. We would be honored to include them.
Member’s Exhibit
This exhibit features artwork by BCA’s own members, and will be open to the public for viewing. If you are not a member and would like to submit artwork to this show, consider joining! You may fill out a membership form in person or online.
Entries will be accepted in person May 14-17 from 10:00 AM to 5:00PM. Please review the entry rules prior to submitting.
The community is invited to attend opening reception on Saturday, June 1 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. This exhibit will remain on display through July 5, 2024.
Retro, Vintage, Classic
Nostalgia is at the heart of this exhibit. Entries should contain subject matter or themes that reflect fondly on the past. This could be achieved with nostalgia-invoking themes or content, artwork created using historical technology or techniques, or featuring images associated with the past. This exhibit will be on display from April 6 through May 10, 2024.
Artists may submit up to three pieces. There is no entry fee. Artwork should be delivered in person between March 26 and 29 during the center’s regular business hours. On Tuesday, March 26, the Center will open late at 11:00AM.
Anderson School District Two: Spring Showcase
During Youth Art Month, our gallery will be filled with student work selected by art teachers in the Belton-Honea Path school district.
An opening reception will be held on Thurday, February 29 from 3:30-6:00 to celebrate the achievements of these hardworking students. All are welcome.
Solo Exhibit: Ashley Rabanal "A Failing of Place"
In this solo exhibition, Ashley Rabanal’s paintings explore the idea of “home” and considers the relationships of people and space.

Closed for the Holidays
Belton Center for the Arts will close the last two weeks of December and reopen at the beginning of January. Happy New Year!
Christmas Tour of Homes
The halls are decked! In this self-guided tour, explore the beautifully decorated private interiors of three Belton homes, plus visit two new local businesses: The Style Shoppe and Sugar Hill Tap House.
One complimentary small pour of wine will be available at the Tap House. Begin the tour at BCA to receive a wristband, guide brochure, and scavenger hunt for children. Doors will be open from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. You must get your wristband from Belton Center for the Arts before you will be permitted into the homes.
Tickets are $20 per adult and $5 per child.
Skip the line and buy online now. Tickets purchased online will be fulfilled in person on the day of the event. Just tell our volunteers your name, and we will give you your wristband for admission.
Tickets will also be sold at the door at Belton Center for the Arts.

Holiday Market
Our Holiday Market is the perfect opportunity to do your last minute gift shopping. We host a variety of vendors with hand-crafted goods designed and produced locally. On opening night, BCA will have homemade vegetable soup and cornbread available for purchase to enjoy while you shop. After that, you can stop by during our regular business hours until December 15. ‘Tis the season to shop small and support your local artists and craftspeople!
