a private party is a packaged class experience at belton center for the arts. ideal for bridal showers, baby showers, or birthdays, private parties are a great way to experience the arts in a personalized & unique way. Grab your family and friends for this completely unique experience at BCA!
Party Packages
Canvas Painting Parties
We will set up the classroom with tables, chairs, and easels. Each guest gets an 9x12 canvas, paint, and brushes.
Cost: $200 for up to 12 guests total, $10 for each additional guest

You provide a photo(s) of the bride or groom and we print and provide each guest with a photo of the bride or groom to paint.

Each guest receives a canvas with a pre-drawn baby head shape. The guest then paints what they believe the baby will look like.

Each guest receives a white onesie and fabric paints to paint the baby a custom onesie.
Additional cost: $250 for up to 12 guests total, $12 for each additional guest
Pottery painting Parties
We will set up the classroom with tables chairs, and provide a premade piece of pottery and glazes for each guest. For your party, you will choose one type of pottery for all guests to paint: mugs, plates, or bud vases.
Once finished, you will leave the painted pottery here for us to fire in our kiln! Pottery will be available to pickup 1 week later.
Cost:
$200 for up to 6 guests total, $20/additional guest
$300 for up to 12 guests total, $20/additional guest

No specific theme to this! Just show up and everyone can paint whatever they desire. This is best for birthday parties, graduations, or retirement parties.

Each guest receives a plate to paint. The guests then draw a number to learn what age they will be painting for the baby.
These plates can then be used each year on the baby’s birthday. Typically, Mom & Dad get to paint Baby’s 1st birthday plate.

Each guest receives a different bud vase to glaze. These vases can then be used as centerpieces or decorations for florals at the wedding.

Ready to book your Private Party? To reserve materials, parties must be booked at least 15 days prior to the event. To reserve your space, please press the BOOK IT! link below to email madison@beltonarts.org and begin planning your party. The email will auto-generate with questions for you to fill out about your party.

Private Parties are not considered facility rentals, but they can be booked alongside facility rentals. For example, if you are renting the facility for a baby shower, you may also book a private party to work alongside the event.

By booking a private party, you receive two hours of party time. Typically, this can look like an hour of creating time and an hour of party time.

Private parties include the classroom space. You are welcome to bring decorations for the classroom to make it unique to you!
In order to decorate or utilize the gallery space downstairs, you would need to book a rental as well.

Yes! We can develop your own unique theme as long as it doesn’t require extra materials than what would typically be provided.
We can set it up so your guests paint, or create whatever you desire with canvas or our pre-made pottery.

While booking a Private Party, BCA staff will work with you to discuss any specific requests or desires to make the private party what you want it to be. A $50 deposit is required at least 20 days prior to the event to reserve your date and purchase materials in advance.
Once your party is reserved, the host(s) can begin designing the party and make package/theme selections.
During the event, a BCA staff member will be in the classroom to assist in the facilitation of the event and ensure all guests have materials and adequate instructions.
